Sewing project

I made a liner for my bike basket! It was pretty easy, and I think it turned out very well. Can't wait to take it out tomorrow. And yes, I got my pink streamers and Hello Kitty bell :P. Isn't it great?

My mom's birthday presents!

Since I've been into more crafts lately, she asked that I make her something. Here are the results!

I made this bowl out of an old record I had. I am definitely planning on getting some more from the thrift store just for this purpose.

I also made her a tote bag (my first try) out of an old shirt she had sent Scott that was funny. I forgot to take a picture of the inside, but it is fully lined and has a pocket:





Not bad for a first go. I really hope she likes them!

My first shirt reconstruction

I've been getting into sewing lately, in particular reconstructing old items like t-shirts that I already have. I just got my first sewing machine, and here is my very first t-shirt surgery:
